The name was actually inspired from the song "Feel Good Inc." by the Gorillaz. The lyric from the song was "...A melancholy town where we never smile...".
This site was previously named Immortal Demise and was hosted on Freewebs. My very first site, I owned and managed with my sister Michelle and it was called Sweet Tangerine Design which was also hosted on Freewebs.
My first public site opened June, 1, 2007 but Melancholy Smile has been open since August 12, 2008.
